A San Francisco based designer, she draws her inspiration from the breathtaking coastline, crisp blue skies and ever-shifting light of California, conjuring up original floral prints with a mix of fresh colors and painterly technique. In 2005, she received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Intimate Apparel Industry's annual Femmy Gala in honor of her 28-year career.

Her three sleepwear lines are Queen Anne's Lace, a couture collection of exquisite white cotton heirloom and silk pieces; the romantic Eileen West, celebrated for its fine fabrics, delicate lace and flawless craftsmanship; and Lanz of Salzburg, an international brand of European sleepwear and dresses that boasts over 60 years in the business. Lanz of Salzburg which was acquired in 1996, has long been treasured for its traditional flannel nightgowns. Thanks to Eileen West, an aficionado of classic design, the beloved history of this line is not forgotten.

To ensure the highest standard of quality, Eileen West and Lanz of Salzburg are produced by one of the industry's leaders, Charles Komar and Sons, whose legacy of fine sleepwear spans nearly a century. A family owned and managed company, Komar is the largest cotton nightwear manufacturer stateside, with facilities worldwide.

Last year, Eileen West launched an intimates collection in collaboration with Chelsea Design Group, a line that parallels her sleepwear in artistry and refinement.

We are excited to announce that this February marks further expansions of the Eileen West brand, including handbags, small leather goods, and belts produced by the highly respected Tandy Brand Inc., as well as a complete collection of fashions for the home manufactured by United Feather and Down, Hedaya Home Fashions, Park Smith and American Dawn Inc.
