I usually wear a 14W, and the L is a perfect fit. The gown is beautiful. I do wish EW made more gowns in the lawn length. I like being covered up (no chemises), but I don't like the way I can get tangled in the long gowns.
Absolutely adore these nightgowns. This is my second one. It is sort of matronly but the cotton is so lovely against the skin and the pattern details are so sweet that I feel wonderful in it!

for years I wore Eileen West but do not see it in the stores any more. I was a little surprised that the material was not a little heavier, but it is okay. I like the idea of white cotton in a flowing nightgown and robe.

I have not worn it yet and therefore 4 stars...being conservative. That said, I have purchased E West gowns for a lot of years and they seldom if ever fail.. Wonder quality fabric and workmanship.
I have been wearing Eileen West cotton nightgowns and matching robes for over20 years. they are exquisitely made and the quality is superb as I have at minimum 30 ensembles in my closet. I feel absolutely beautiful in them.

Soft feminine fabric, sheer netting detail is wonderful change. Love this so much I ordered a second and then found the matching robe and got that too...love a set..romantic. Wish this set was available in soft pastels too.
So soft and pretty. Neckline is a nice change with the lace over a sheer netting that is not scratchy at all. Not too sheer fabric in body of gown , A nice addition .
Loves the gowns. Especially the lace day dream white cotton gown. She told me she loves this style. It does not fall to low. She loves that so longer it keeps her feet warm at night while she is in bed.
