This is my second review of this nightgown. I originally gave it a 4 because it fit differently from my other nightgowns and felt like it was tight under the arms. However, after wearing and washing it multiple times it softened up and is now one of my favorite nightgowns. I have since bought 2 more of them. Here is what I love about it: The fabric is beautiful and not see through. It’s my go to gown when my grown sons come home; The design is different from the traditional nightgown. It’s very flattering at the bust with its ties instead of buttons. It’s cuts low in the back instead of high at the neck. It keeps me cooler. I hope EW will make more in this style ( not with Swiss dots- not smooth on my skin) Hope this helps.
Hi - By accident I ordered an xs. I reordered a medium. Wish that there would have been a way to void the mistaken order. Took along time to finally get someone to talk to about the situation. Left several voice mails and finally someone called back. She was very helpful and set up a return that the company paid the postage on. I took it to our local business center after submitting requested info on our computer. The xs gown ended up being sent by ups back to us. Love this gown…pretty lace and details which you come to expect from Eileen West gowns. The neckline scoop is fairly deep: it was fine for me, but you could probably size down as there is plenty of room in the gown itself. Perfect for warmer weather!
I love the nightgown. The only reason I am giving it a 4 is this style of nightgown is cut tighter in the underarm. I love the way it dips in the back and in the front. I wish you made more of the style that is cut out in the back instead of the panel coming up to your neck. I used to be able to find more of the kind without the panel, but it seems like in the past few years. It’s very hard to find them in an array of colors. The fabric is beautiful. I like that. It’s not so sheer that you can see through it. This is a gown that I would wear in front of my sons. I would love to see the style of nightgown and more colors.
I always love these nighties! They are pretty much the only ones I wear. I have bought other brands and inevitably been disappointed, so I just buy these!
Another beautiful easy, breezy spring and summer style! 🩵 One thing to note is that the neckline is not stretchy (or drawstring) like some similar styles!
