This 100% cotton nightgown is extremely comfortable, and cool on warm evenings. The only problem I had with it was that it reached the floor and beyond - I had to get it shortened. Then again, I am only 5’1”, which partly explains this excess length.
such a beautiful yet sophisticated nightgown, the cotton is breathable yet warm and definite buy and staple for me to buy the ballet nightgown always. Well, done Eileen West again!
I LOVED the first one I bought (that I accidentally left in a hotel while traveling.). The second one (same size ) shrunk after one wash. Now the armpits are a little tight.
I already had the matching robe because I wanted to wear it as a nightgown for the pockets. I love the robe and decided to add this gown as a warming layer in the mid-winter chill. It will be lovely and cool in summer, as well. I bought the small even though I am a medium in most daywear and it fits very well. A medium would be rather big on me.
Every piece I buy just makes me want more. Eileen West gowns and robes just make you feel special!
My new favorite nightgown! I love that it's all cotton, and very comfy. It's the kind of nightgown I could spent the whole day it. It's elegant, yet casual. Almost looks like a sundress, so I wear it to lounge around in on our deck in the backyard. I love all my Eileen West nightgowns, but this is my fave.
I love the fabric and fit of the nightgown. But the BEST part is that it's a dark color, especially black. It's about time I can find a comfortable nightgown that's not a light color or filled with flowers. I LOVE THE BLACK! Also, it makes snacking in bed more worry free from stains.
I suggest more of these maybe in solid medium blue or another darker color.
